Miami Florida is a popular vacation hotspot and destination. It is chock-full of great restaurants, beaches and a bustling night life. Currently, due to the extended recession (or minor depression and some economists are referring to it as), Miami is also known as one of the foreclosure capital's the United States . There are numerous condos and residential communities that have greatly suffered because of this and the downturn in the economy. Not only can use Craigslist to look for used cars, you can also use it to look for car parts (ie. Like a radiator, transmission, engine, rack and pinion, etc...), car repair services and more. I just recently myself use Craigs List to find a mechanic to replace and repair the worn out rack and pinion in my car. I had originally ordered a replacement rack and pinion off of eBay and it turned out that that seller on eBay new actually nothing about remanufacturing or rebuilding rack and pinions. It turns out the mechanic that I found through Craigslist was very knowledgeable in rack and pinions and numerous other aspects of car repair.
This mechanic saved me a bundle of money and did the repair for one fourth of the cost of the local car dealers. The car dealers on average charge in between $1800 and $2400 for this repair. The Craig's List mechanic did for round $800. That's a pretty big savings. And the rack and pinion works perfect now. I have used Craigslist to find various repairs both for my cars and my house. Recently my stepmother had a pipe burst in her basement bathroom and this led to a small mold problem. We used Craigslist to find a knowledgeable and experienced mold removal and repair person. This worked out great as my stepparent got a great repair for very low cost and completely removed all traces of the mold.
The savings for the mold removal and repair were unbelievable as the local name brand mold removal experts wanted over $10,000 and the Craigslist mold man wanted $550 for the same work. There is a whole lot that you can see on Craigslist that you could never do for your local newspaper classifieds or phonebook. From seeing what is available at local garage sales and yard sales to purchasing old magazines and newspapers to buying a used car, estate sales, real estate sales, etc. there is just a whole lot to Craigs List has to offer you.
I have used Craigs List myself numerous times for everything from lawn care, landscaping, plumbing, electrical repairs, car repairs, etc. You can even go hire yourself someone to build a website for you, to repair your computer is working slowly or has a virus, to rebuilding a network or more. The possibilities are basically analysts and so are the savings that you'll get by going through the majority of people post on Craigs List. Whether you live in Miami or in the surrounding suburbs or elsewhere you will benefit greatly from learning about and using your local Craigslist.
